NC State Begging To Be Rick Rolled

NC State has gone “new tradition” crazy leading up to the September 6th home opener against William & Mary. The university installed a new wolf statue outside the players tunnel (I’ll write more on this later), and now GoPack.com is asking for suggestions on what song to play in between the 3rd & 4th quarters to “ignite a little excitement.”
Here’s your chance to help start a new game-day tradition at Carter-Finley Stadium. Whether it is a country hit, classic rock or a beach music song, NC State is looking for something that will stir the passions of fans aged 2 to 92 between the third and fourth quarters of home football games.
Wolfpack coach Tom O’Brien told PackPride his preference late last week, saying “anything that you know the words to – and not rap.” Those darn kids and their hippity-hop! No worries coach, if fans from rival ACC schools are worth their salt, Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” is in the top 3 already.
