Carolina Tropical Storms Logo

Good gracious, it looks like the Carolina “Tropical Storms” alternate logo for the Hurricanes might be true. The above image pulled from the RBC Center webcam shows off a new logo at center ice. Gone is the traditional “eye logo,” replaced by the shoulder patch logo that features a hockey stick holding a single red flag with black square. How many times must I point this out:
2 red flags with black squares = Hurricane
1 red flag with black square = Tropical Storm
The alternate jersey will be unveiled on Wednesday, and is rumored to be black. At last check, the speculation centered around the chest logo being the single flag. It appears those rumors might have been right.
