Look, I know Barack Obama ushered in a new era of “anything is possible” across the nation. Heck, the Arizona Cardinals are in the Super Bowl. Even NC State fans got caught up in the moment. One optimist wrote Wednesday morning, “With President Obama’s inauguration and a snowstorm coming…tomorrow just seems like it will be a different sort of day…Could it be a sign for a Wolfpack win in Durham?” We all saw how that one turned out. It was like watching Titanic — you knew the ship was going to sink at the end.

Like Wall Street tumbling after Obama took office, the cold reality of the world settled in last night when North Carolina took the Tigers to the woodshed once again.
