Finally… College Football

RealClearSports ranked the top 10 college football team entrances and the ACC represents rather nicely. Miami’s “storm smoke”, Chief Osceola planting the flaming spear before Florida State runs out, and Clemson’s “most exciting 25 seconds in college football.” Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” clearly helps Virginia Tech have an electrifying open, and no complaints ranking one of the modern entrances over the likes of “Play Like A Champion Today.”

Tonight, NC State takes the field against the South Carolina Gamecocks and rumors have it that they’ll be having a new version of a team entrance.  They’ll also be having a “white-out” which really is going to look lame compared to what Boise State fans are doing against Oregon tonight.

Yes, Boise State, home of the “smurf turf” will create blinding seizures in opposing quarterbacks and television viewers with this setup.

College football returns… and so does my sanity after it was lost during this past month of baseball season.
