Radio Free Cybertron 10th Anniversary Show

In October 1999, my friend Brian Kilby (who I’ve known since elementary school) began an internet radio show on the topic of Transformers called Radio Free Cybertron.  It was distributed via mp3 and real audio format and covered Transformers news, reviews and everything else having to deal with Transformers.  RFC predated the format of podcasting by at least five years and was the first Transformers radio show and possibly one of the first “podcast” to hit the internet.

The show’s first run lasted until 2004, but earlier this year, Brian brought the show back to the airwaves.  On Thursday October 15, 2009 Radio Free Cybertron will celebrate 10 years of open-sourced generated multimedia and will broadcast a 10th anniversary show.  For more information, check out their website at www.tfradio.net.
